Adams’ Synchronological Chart
First issued in 1871, Sebastian Adams’ synchronological chart is a visual depiction of 5,885 years of biblical and world history from 4004 BC to 1881 AD. The timeline is accompanied by illustrations of key events and ancient geography such as Noah and the flood, patriarchs (with genealogies), Babylon, The Roman Empire, seven wonders of the world, and more. All of this spans a 23-foot-long work that is unmatched in its hand-drawn scope and complexity.
